McKinsey Operations Practice
Delivering value through strategy and implementation
McKinsey advises organizations on a wide range of topics, including the value to be gained from operations, including manufacturing, product development, purchasing, supply chain, and service operations. Our global network of more than 200 highly specialized consultants form a dedicated group, the Operations Practice, which applies its strategic thinking and hands-on implementation experience to help our clients. Over the past five years, we have conducted about 2,500 operations projects worldwide.
If you have outstanding academic qualifications and practical experience, why not consider making the transition to consulting and join our Operations Practice. Whether we are dealing with logistics, improving the performance of production equipment, or advising on the end-to-end construction of a new production line, your specialist knowledge makes you an asset for us and for our clients.
Or "tune your career" as a young professional and participate in our two-year program at the Production Systems Design Centers in the UK, Germany, France, or Sweden. Through practical client work and deep knowledge programs, we will equip you with general consulting, technical, and transformational skills. You will work with organizations in a wide range of industries, designing and implementing lean manufacturing and other operational improvement programs. After two years, you will progress to join an outstanding group of our Manufacturing Practice specialists, who truly understand how to help our clients achieve dramatic and sustainable operational transformation.
